Elizabethtown College Professor of Psychology Michael Roy and Associate Professor of Psychology T. Evan Smith accompanied a group of 11 Etown students to the annual Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) Conference from Feb. 29 to March 2 in Philadelphia to present their research.

“Our students did a fantastic job of presenting their research at the conference,” Roy said. “It’s a great opportunity for our students to discuss all the hard work they’ve been doing with other interested research and to also find out about the work other people are doing.”

In addition to presenting their research, students engaged with other presentations in different interest areas of psychology. The group also explored Philadelphia together.

The annual EPA meeting allows researchers from all areas of psychology to present their work. The conference also hosts keynote speakers and invited speakers. Etown Professor of Psychology Jean Pretz and Associate Professor of Psychology Elizabeth Dalton helped students with research projects but were not in attendance for the conference.
