Three Elizabethtown College alumni were recently named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list. Kimberly Lyons ’08, Darby Scott Hughes MBA ’14, and Meghan McNaughton Wagner, Esq. ’10 all received the honor.
The 40 under 40 list recognizes and celebrates innovative leaders from Central Pennsylvania under the age of 40. Honorees are selected based on their professional accomplishments, community service, and commitment to inspiring change by a panel of judges which includes previous winners.
Winners will be recognized Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton in Harrisburg, Pa.
Kimberly Lyons ’08 – Bachelor of Science, International Business
Lyons is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a partner at Simon Lever Business Advisors and CPAs after starting her journey with the company immediately as a manager after graduation. Lyons is also involved in the community as manager of the East Petersburg Inline Hockey League and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs’ Not-For-Profit Committee. Lyons was previously honored with the PICPA Young Leaders Award in 2020.
Darby Scott Hughes ’14 – Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Hughes has been the Director of Account Planning for Pavone Marketing Group since May 2015. In his role, Hughes leads a team of account planners and leads new business pitches. He also oversees the agency’s food and beverage trends report that’s received national recognition.
Meghan McNaughton Wagner ’10 – Bachelor of Arts, Political Science with a minor in Communications
McNaughton Wagner serves as Assistant Council in the General Law Division of the Office of Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). She was recently awarded the Star of Excellence, PennDOT’s highest recognition, and was honored at the Governor’s Residence in August 2022.
