Transferring from one institution to another can be daunting. However, Elizabethtown College has aimed to make that process as seamless as possible and is recognized as one of the most transfer-friendly schools in the nation! Our admissions practices, cost of attendance, campus life, and partnership with a number of two-year colleges, all help to ease the transfer process.

Why did you choose to transfer to Etown?
While attending my previous school, I found myself feeling lost and without the strong sense of community and belonging I was looking for in a college. When I transferred to Etown, I met people I’m genuinely excited to call my friends and professors who inspire me to become the best version of myself possible. Walking around campus knowing I’m valued as an individual and student has been the best experience I could have asked for.
Did the transfer process go smoothly? How did Etown help out with this?
The transfer process went extremely well and I was surprised at how eager the admissions department and my advisor were in getting me the help I needed. My advisor from the education department also did a tremendous job finding the time to meet with me when I needed help with degree planning and scheduling courses.
What advice would you give to other students who are considering a transfer to Etown?
For those considering transferring to Etown, see this as an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone! The College’s community is extremely easy to adapt to, and I found myself growing within it rather quickly.
