Elizabethtown College Assistant Professor of Engineering & Physics Jean Batista Abreu recently co-authored an article that was published in the Journal of Structural Engineering.
The article, “Simple Three-Coefficient Equation for Temperature-Dependent Mechanical Properties of Cold-Formed Steels,” proposes relationships for the reduction in mechanical properties of cold-formed steels at elevated temperature.
The other contributing authors include President and Owner of RSG Software Inc. Robert Glauz, Johns Hopkins University Ph.D student Xia Yan, and Johns Hopkins University Dept. of Civil and Systems Engineering Professors Benjamin Schafer and Thomas Gernay.
