Elizabethtown College is hosting author and UFO researcher Dr. Greg Eghigian on Friday, March 27, at 4 p.m. in Gibble Auditorium, Masters Center. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
Sponsored by the Society for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Studies, “The History of UFOs, UAP Alien Encounters, and Abductions with Dr. Greg Eghigian” will feature a thought-provoking conversation about the modern history of supernatural and paranormal phenomena.
Eghigian will also discuss his latest book, “After the Flying Saucers Came: A Global History of the UFO Phenomenon,” which explores UFO reports and claims of extraterrestrial contact throughout the world.
A Professor of History and Bioethics at Penn State University, Eghigian researches how societies use science and medicine to define and respond to behaviors deemed problematic.
More recently, his work has focused on the modern history of supernatural and paranormal phenomena. He is currently working on two book projects that further explore these topics.
