{"id":21224,"date":"2026-03-09T08:42:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/?p=21224"},"modified":"2026-03-06T11:51:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T16:51:44","slug":"one-elle-of-a-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/index.php\/2026\/03\/09\/one-elle-of-a-night\/","title":{"rendered":"Elizabethtown College Dance Team to Host Annual One Elle of a Night Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Written by Claire Keenan &#8217;29 (English Secondary Education major), Elliot Mock &#8217;28 (English Literature major), and Olivia Zortman &#8217;26 (Psychology major).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Elizabethtown College Dance Team\u202fis hosting its annual charity show, One Elle of a Night, on Saturday, March 14 at 8 p.m., in the Leffler Chapel and Performance Center.<\/p>\n<p>One Elle of a Night raises money and awareness for the Elle Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting wishes to children with recurring cancer and terminal illness.<\/p>\n<p>The event is open to both the Etown campus and the surrounding community members. Tickets will be sold at the door and will cost $5 for students and $7 for community members. As an additional fundraising option, the team will present raffle baskets for attendees to purchase.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cOne of the biggest successes is seeing so many people come together to raise money,\u201d Gabby Petridge &#8217;27, the Dance Team captain, said. \u201cWe love seeing the chapel full as it can get with people who want to support a good cause!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Etown\u2019s Dance Team will perform several of their favorite dances from this past year. Additional groups performing this year will include Emotion, Phalanx, Vocalign, Melica, and E-dance, a children\u2019s dance studio.<\/p>\n<p>Raising money for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ellefoundation.org\/about-us\">Elle Foundation<\/a>\u00a0allows the organization to grant children with terminal recurrence of cancer their final wishes.
