Jeremy Bitz ’96<\/p><\/div>\n

Meet Jeremy Bitz \u201996, a Mass Communications alumnus and Senior Director of Strategic Engagement at Warner Bros. Discovery<\/a> who has thrived throughout his career in news media by covering and producing events around the world. Bitz also works as a freelancer, taking pride in guiding students on how to build and adapt their careers in a rapidly evolving field.<\/p>\n

What defined your Etown experience?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

My Etown experience was defined by the friends I made with classmates and professors, along with all the time I spent within the Communications culture happening around the Steinman Center. The time I spent as a Station Manager at ECTV and participating in campus media was a huge part of my college career.<\/span><\/p>\n

How has your Etown degree benefitted you and your career success?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Elizabethtown College gave me the confidence to push myself beyond what I think I know, the curiosity to ask questions, and the ability to multi-task across numerous responsibilities. It was also the first time I had people working for me, instead of just with me, learning <\/span>about<\/span> how to motivate and drive a team.<\/span><\/p>\n

How have you made a difference in the lives of others through your career\u00a0<\/span>and\/or<\/span>\u00a0personal life?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I hope I have inspired others to grow beyond what they think they <\/span>are capable of<\/span> while keeping a cool head and a clear mind. I also hope I have inspired people to know it’s okay to ask questions and to feel confident and proud of what they’ve done or are doing.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your passion? Where do you place your energy besides your career?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Exploring the world and seeking out new adventures is something I\u2019m truly passionate about. Travel has been at the heart of my wife\u2019s and my life.<\/span><\/p>\n
