Designed to prepare students for a technical career in the workforce or for graduate school, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etown.edu\/schools\/school-of-engineering-and-computer-science\/engineering\/index.aspx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Etown\u2019s Engineering program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> challenges students to become innovators of the future through personal attention from innovative and award-winning faculty mentors and hands-on experience in design and fabrication laboratories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In its 39th year, the U.S. News &amp; World Report rankings evaluate more than 1,450 colleges and universities on up to 19 key measures of academic quality. In all Elizabethtown College was recognized for the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Best Regional Universities (North): #39 (Tie)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Best Value Schools (Regional Universities \u2013 North): #11<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs \u2013 No Doctorate: #69 (Tie)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Social Mobility Among Regional Universities (North): #149<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Best Undergraduate Teaching Programs (Regional Universities \u2013 North): #6 (Tie)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This year, Elizabethtown College launched additional high-demand programs such as an Asian Studies major, an Integrative Studies major, a Pre-physical Therapy concentration in Exercise Science, and an Environmental Studies minor.
