Reconfiguring Writing Courses for the New, Virtual World.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In her essay, Moore speaks to the importance of \u201cflipped learning\u201d in a post-pandemic world, a teaching method focused on active learning within the classroom, rather than lecture-based lessons.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cFaculty and students went through a huge shake up during the pandemic, and I had the opportunity to test out new teaching practices,\u201d Moore said. \u201cThe \u2018flipped learning\u2019 teaching method prioritizes exploration and discovery during class time.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMy findings show that active learning gives students more power over their learning, it makes for more flexible learning, and it leads to more productive lessons,&#8221; Moore said. &#8220;That\u2019s exactly what I want for my students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The publication that featured Moore\u2019s essay centers around the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on writing courses and online\/hybrid classroom structure.
