Elizabethtown College has been named to the 2022 Transfer Honor Roll list by the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society<\/a>. PTK annually recognizes institutions for displaying excellence in the development and support of dynamic and innovative transfer pathways for community college transfer students. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The prestigious recognition, which identifies Etown as one of the most transfer-friendly schools in the nation, is determined by measuring an institution\u2019s admissions practices, cost of attendance, campus life, and recruitment practices. This year, PTK named just 171 colleges and universities to its 2022 Transfer Honor Roll.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are honored to be recognized as a top transfer destination by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society,\u201d Elizabethtown College Vice President for Enrollment Management John Champoli said. \u201cWe take pride in helping our transfer students find academic success and their purpose in life while studying at Elizabethtown College.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Transfer Honor Roll is determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students, including college cost and financial aid, campus life for transfer, admission practices, and bachelor\u2019s degree completion. The Transfer Honor Roll was based on analysis from the National Student Clearinghouse, and on data submitted through the four-year institution\u2019s profile on PTK Connect, Phi Theta Kappa\u2019s online tool designed to help students find their best-fit colleges and career pathways.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThis award is so important because it is based on what students tell us they need from their transfer experience,\u201d Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner, President and CEO of Phi Theta Kappa said. \u201cWe are honored to recognize the colleges and universities working exceptionally hard to create stronger pathways to bachelor\u2019s degree completion for all students.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elizabethtown College has established Dual Admissions Programs with several community colleges including Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), Harford Community College (HCC), and Reading Area Community College (RACC). These programs allow for students to earn their associate degree at the participating institution and easily apply those credits toward earning an advanced degree at Etown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
