Over the past two summers, Mistichelli has furthered her studies in <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.metlife.com\/content\/ActuarialStudentProgram\/?locale=en_US\">MetLife<\/a>\u2019s Actuarial Internship Program and plans to return as an intern in the coming summer following her Undergraduate commencement.<a href=\"https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/files\/2021\/11\/Ashley-Mistichelli-.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-10903 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/files\/2021\/11\/Ashley-Mistichelli--300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/files\/2021\/11\/Ashley-Mistichelli--300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/files\/2021\/11\/Ashley-Mistichelli--768x512.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/news.etown.edu\/files\/2021\/11\/Ashley-Mistichelli-.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cI am so honored to be a recipient of the CAMAR Scholarship,\u201d said Mistichelli. \u201cI would like to thank the entirety of the Mathematical Sciences Department at Etown for preparing me for my career as an actuary!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mistichelli intends to pursue her master\u2019s degree in Finance at Etown, then study toward Fellowship with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soa.org\/\">Society of Actuaries<\/a> after graduation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the CAMAR Scholarship<\/strong><br \/>\nCAMAR scholarships are awarded each year to six deserving students from Arcadia University, Elizabethtown College, Grove City University, Lebanon Valley College, Messiah College, Morgan State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Penn State University, Robert Morris University, St. Joseph\u2019s University, Temple University, Towson University, University of Delaware, University of Pennsylvania, or West Chester University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ashley Mistichelli \u201922 was recently awarded the Casualty Actuaries of the Mid-Atlantic Region (CAMAR) Scholarship by the Casualty Actuarial Society for outstanding performance in an Actuarial Science program.
