I felt that if I could start helping people, this was the project that I wanted to start with.

Kyla: The application of this project really drew me in. The support I am getting from Dr. Toote has been phenomenal. Understanding how I can apply my knowledge in research to the real world is also very interesting.

Kyla: Nanoparticles are really interesting. There are so many factors that affect how they turn out. It’s interesting to change one variable at a time to see its effect on the particles and determine how we can make our particles the most effective.

How has Professor Toote helped you throughout this experience?

Sagar: Dr. Toote has been very helpful in teaching us how to perform research.
