It highlights the importance of the principles of democratic oversight and accountability as well as a participative approach and local ownership in making sure that SSR effectively contributes to the accomplishment of SDG-16 targets.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dursun-\u00d6zkanca&#8217;s first solo-authored book, \u00a0&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/books\/turkeywest-relations\/B7BA02FDC15C2178EB211D5BB51648AA#fndtn-information\">Turkey\u2013West Relations: The Politics of Intra-alliance Opposition&#8221;<\/a> was published in 2019. Since 2003, Dursun-Ozkanca has been researching and writing about Turkish foreign policy.
