Scholarship support has allowed Emma Haab ’26, M’27 the freedom to pursue both her academic and creative endeavors with passion at Elizabethtown College.

An Occupational Therapy major, Haab enhances her practical skillset as a member and mentor of the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), gaining relevant field experience and leadership capabilities.

Haab serves the campus community as the assistant marketing coordinator for the Office of Student Activities (OSA). She also takes part in various creative ventures as a choreographer and dancer in Emotion.

How do scholarships help students like you reach their goals at Etown?

Scholarships at Etown have helped me stay focused on becoming an occupational therapist by easing some of the financial pressure of college, which allows me to put more time and energy into my coursework and hands-on learning experiences. I’ve been able to stay involved in meaningful activities like dance that support my creativity and well-being. They’ve also made it possible for me to pursue opportunities that will strengthen my future practice, especially working with children, while building confidence knowing others are investing in my goals.

What would you like to say to the donors who made your scholarship possible?

Thank you so much for your generous support. Your contribution allows me to continue pursuing my education and future career as an occupational therapist, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity this scholarship provides.

What are your goals or plans for after graduation?

I aspire to become an occupational therapist, specializing in pediatrics and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
