Recently, Elizabethtown College partnered with Immaculata University to create graduate pathways for qualified Nutrition & Human Performance and Exercise Science students.
Through the agreements, Etown students majoring in Nutrition & Human Performance receive automatic acceptance into Immaculata’s Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition program, while students majoring in Exercise Science gain automatic acceptance into its Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program.
“We are excited to partner with Immaculata University to provide our students with seamless and affordable pathways to advance their education,” Elizabethtown College Dean of the School of Sciences and Health Alan Utter said. “These articulation agreements reflect our shared commitment to preparing future health professionals through rigorous academics, clinical preparation, and experiential learning opportunities. By creating direct pathways into these graduate programs, we are helping students build the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in healthcare, wellness, and human performance.”
Launching in the fall of 2026, Etown’s science-based, interdisciplinary Nutrition & Human Performance program will prepare students for careers that promote healthier individuals and communities and enhance athletic performance across a variety of populations.
Etown’s Exercise Science program equips students with a deep understanding of how physical activity, exercise, and lifestyle impact health and well-being. Through labs, research, and hands-on learning, students apply scientific principles to real-world challenges in health and fitness.
State-of-the-art campus facilities provide Etown students across both programs with hands-on learning in unique classroom settings and access to industry-standard equipment, including the Human Performance Lab, located within the Bowers Center for Sports, Fitness & Well-Being.
