Students and alumni took part in the event, which consisted of engaging hands-on opportunities to hone students’ skills in the performing arts.

“We wanted to find a way to help pass on the knowledge that alumni have and provide insight into how students could be involved in theater and entertainment after college,” B.R. Delaney ’04, a Theatre Design and Technology alumnus and Encore President said. “This event creates a venue to provide insight and connect with students in the same place that brings all of the alumni together – the theatre!”

Encore is an Etown alumni affinity network dedicated to fostering a lifelong commitment to performing arts.

The event kicked off on Friday with a meet and greet session, providing an opportunity for students and alumni to network.

Saturday featured a full schedule of classes and interactive sessions led by Etown alumni in the Tempest Theatre, sharing career insights and leading acting workshops. Class topics educated students on improvisation skills, stage management, and character building. The event concluded with a group dinner.
