The agreement provides Etown students with a tuition discount and application benefits for University of Delaware graduate programs

Elizabethtown College’s School of Engineering and Computer Science recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Delaware College of Engineering to provide graduate pathways for students pursuing an advanced degree.

“Through our new Graduate Preferred Partner Pathway with the University of Delaware, Etown students in Engineering and Computer Science gain streamlined access to advanced study in high-demand fields,” Elizabethtown College Dean of the School of Engineering and Computer Science Sara Atwood said. “This partnership reduces application barriers and expands opportunities for students to build on their Etown foundation for further study. It’s one more way we help students take the next step with purpose and confidence.”

After completing core requirements and earning a bachelor’s degree from the School of Engineering and Computer Science, Etown students applying for admission to participating graduate programs in the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware will receive a 10% tuition discount.

Additional benefits through the agreement include a waived application fee and waived GRE scores for Etown students.

Etown’s School of Engineering and Computer Science emphasizes a broad technical foundation, offering thriving programs, multidisciplinary engineering, artificial intelligence, software development, and information systems.

The College’s innovative Engineering program recently earned national recognition in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. The program was ranked #46 (tie) in the nation and fourth in Pennsylvania among undergraduate engineering programs (no doctorate). This marks a seven-spot jump from last year and an impressive climb of nearly 100 places since 2019.
