Recently, Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) partnered with the Lancaster Area Paralegal Association to offer a 15% tuition discount on educational programs that enhance the skills and professional development of all Lancaster Area Paralegal Association members, along with their spouses and dependents.
Lancaster Area Paralegal Association is a non-profit organization, which has been serving paralegals and legal assistants in the Lancaster area since 1984.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Lancaster Area Paralegal Association and provide their members with greater access to the educational and professional development opportunities available through the Elizabethtown College School of Graduate and Professional Studies,” Elizabethtown College SGPS Director of Corporate Partnerships, Chris D’Imperio said.
The tuition discount will apply to SGPS undergraduate and graduate-level programs, as well as the micro-credentialing platform Etown Edge, which offers over 300 affordable courses through self-paced modules across a variety of in-demand fields.
Etown SGPS recently launched a Paralegal Studies program to offer aspiring paralegals and legal assistants options for obtaining the skills and knowledge needed to serve the community with integrity. In collaboration with the Lancaster Bar Association, the 16-course, 64-credit program, including a practical one-credit internship, blends online coursework with synchronous components taught by Lancaster Bar Association adjunct faculty. Participants can pursue three separate undergraduate certificate options or combine them to attain an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Paralegal Studies.
For more than 70 years, SGPS has had a direct and positive impact on the workforce and economy of both Lancaster County and throughout the southcentral Pennsylvania region by offering convenient and flexible undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as micro-credential options specifically designed to meet the needs of busy working adults. Courses are taught by faculty who are working professionals in the fields in which they teach, ensuring that content is current and highly applicable.
SGPS works together with corporate, educational, and community partners from around the region to help build a powerful workforce and advance the careers of learners through the affinity partner program. Learn more about Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
