Elizabethtown College is hosting an International Women’s Day (IWD) celebration with a series of events across campus on Wednesday, Feb. 26 to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
With this year’s International Women’s Day (March 8) taking place during the College’s spring break, Etown is honoring the occasion early with the theme, “Lift, Empower, and Accelerate Action.” Since the official color of IWD is purple, the campus community is encouraged to wear the color to help celebrate!
Etown’s International Women’s Day celebration is presented through collaboration among the Office of Campus Recreation and Well-Being (RecWell), The Office of Student Activities (OSA), and International Student Services.
