Meet Maria Spano ’10, a Computer Science alumna and current Senior Lead Information Security Analyst at Wells Fargo. Spano is passionate about helping current Etown students through networking opportunities, as well as supporting scholarships.

My Etown experience was defined by the supportive community of friends, faculty, and staff.

How has your Etown degree benefitted you and your career success?

My Etown degree has been instrumental in my career success. Although I didn’t pursue a career in Computer Programming, the knowledge I gained has empowered me to participate in meaningful technical and business discussions about development.

How have you made a difference in the lives of others through your career and/or personal life?

Professionally, I focus on empowering and mentoring individuals, particularly those at the start of their professional journeys. In my personal life, I aspire to live in a way that positively affects the lives of others, providing encouragement and support wherever I can.

What is your passion? Where do you place your energy besides your career?

Beyond my career, my passions lie in spending quality time with my family, engaging with my church community, and enjoying the game of golf.
