Recently, Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) partnered with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard to offer a 15% tuition discount on its educational programs for its workforce as well as their spouses and dependents.
“Elizabethtown College values the sacrifices and service provided by our military community,” Elizabethtown College SGPS Director of Corporate Partnerships, Chris D’Imperio said. “We are excited about this new partnership with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and the ability to give back to the military community and their families in such meaningful ways through our dynamic SGPS programs.”
The tuition discount will apply to SGPS undergraduate and graduate-level programs and the online micro-credentialing platform Etown Edge, which offers over 300 affordable courses through self-paced modules across a variety of in-demand fields.
Aligned with the College’s Educate for Service mission, Etown also provides academic support services for veterans which includes a dedicated VA Certifying Official on campus, assigning an advisor to each student, providing dedicated parking and study spaces on campus, and offering access to Counseling Services.
For more than 70 years, SGPS has had a direct and positive impact on the workforce and economy of Pennsylvania by offering convenient and flexible undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as micro-credential options specifically designed to meet the needs of busy working adults. Courses are taught by faculty who are working professionals in the fields in which they teach, ensuring that the content is relevant and highly applicable.
SGPS works together with corporate, educational, and community partners from around the region to help build a powerful workforce and advance the careers of learners through the affinity partner program.
