Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) is offering individuals with an unfinished undergraduate degree the chance to complete their education with financial support through the ACHIEVE project.

A collaborative project led by the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board (LCWDB), and funded through a recent Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) grant, the ACHIEVE project allows Pennsylvania residents to complete their undergraduate degree on a full scholarship for up to 30 credits.

Interested participants can learn more about the program and determine eligibility at etown.edu/SGPS.

“The ACHIEVE program is ideal for individuals who are looking to complete their degree in a short time period and start a new chapter in life within an in-demand, high-priority occupation,” Elizabethtown College Vice President for Enrollment Management John F. Champoli said. “Learners enrolled through the program will be able to take advantage of the extensive resources and flexible online delivery our School of Graduate and Professional Studies provides.”

To be eligible for the grant, participants must be a resident of Pennsylvania and a former post-secondary student who exited post-secondary training within the past two years (since Jan. 1, 2021) without obtaining their degree. Bachelor’s degrees must be completed by June 30, 2024, which means participants should already have estimated 80 credits completed. Students do not have to have previously attended Elizabethtown College but must have previous credits from an accredited institution.

For more than 70 years, the Elizabethtown College School of Graduate and Professional Studies has had a direct and positive impact on the workforce and economy of both Lancaster County and throughout the South-Central Pennsylvania region by offering convenient and flexible undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as micro-credential options for students to fit their educational goals into their daily routines.
