Elizabethtown College’s Best Buddies Club will host the Best Buddies Friendship Walk, Saturday, April 29 from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Thompson Gym to promote friendship, inclusion, and educate communities about intellectual and developmental disabilities. This event is open to the Etown campus community and the public.
The Friendship Walk is an annual fundraiser held nationwide, the event will feature a satellite walk, that will also include other fun activities, such as food and games, crafts, live performances, and more.
“The impact that this organization and club has had on my life and my college experience is immeasurable and I feel so grateful to be able to share that with the campus and Elizabethtown area communities,” Elizabethtown College Best Buddies Club President, Erin Wittenberg said. “This event is so important because it encompasses everything our mission stands for by providing the opportunity to create new friendships and show our community how important inclusion is for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
This event is open to the public. Participants are encouraged to join us for this event by registering for the Friendship Walk.
