The High Center at Elizabethtown College is expanding its mission of strengthening family-owned and privately held businesses with a new Nonprofit Center dedicated to serving the needs of regional nonprofit leaders and organizations.

Building on its 25-year legacy of partnering for success with family-owned businesses in South Central Pa., the High Center for Nonprofits will deliver the same suite of core services its family business members enjoy, including executive peer groups, best practice surveys, the leadership speaker series, and a robust list of member benefits.

“Nonprofit organizations, their boards, and executive teams tackle unique challenges and have needs that are often under-served in our business community,” High Center Executive Director, Michael Mitchell said. “The leadership and organizational development model that the High Center provides has become essential for hundreds of businesses and leaders in the region, and we are excited to offer this invaluable resource to the nonprofit sector.”

“Nonprofit organizations are truly essential businesses in our communities, and I am thrilled to be partnering with them and their leadership teams to further enhance and support their work,” Larison said.

In addition to the core offerings that foster business and leadership development, nonprofit members can also take advantage of the High Center Speaker Series that brings nationally recognized experts to Berks, Lehigh, Lancaster, and York counties.
