The College has exceeded its goal for four consecutive years and will expand this year’s goal to $20,000

Elizabethtown College has exceeded its Make A Deposit, Make A Difference campaign for the fourth consecutive year by reaching and surpassing its goal of 50 enrollment deposits made by accepted students from Jan. 11 through March. 18.  The College announced it will expand the campaign, adding an additional $5,000 to the original $15,000 pledge, which will be donated to Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services (KPETS), a volunteer team that aims to promote well-being by sharing the power of human-animal interactions in south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland, if Etown can reach an additional 30 enrollment deposits by April 1.

“The Make a Deposit, Make a Difference campaign resonates so well with our community because it introduces our newest students to our service-minded environment,” Elizabethtown College President Betty Rider said. “We’re thrilled to be able to build on its success and demonstrate to our students the power of service and its impact.”

The College held its second Accepted Student Day on Saturday, March 18 which served as the initial deadline for the campaign, and more than tripled its goal, receiving 183 student deposits throughout the campaign.

“Our first two Accepted Student Days have been successful and we are excited to welcome our newest Blue Jays to campus,” Elizabethtown College Vice President for Enrollment Management John F. Champoli said. “To know our incoming students’ commitment to attend Etown next fall is represented by a donation to a deserving organization like KPETS makes it all the more exciting.”

Elizabethtown College will host its final Accepted Student Day on Saturday, April 1, where students will learn more about the College and connect with faculty, staff, and students. KPETS will also be on-site to welcome families. Students can also make their deposits toward the expanded Make a Deposit, Make a Difference campaign.
