The High Center for Family Business at Elizabethtown College has announced the appointment of Julie A. Larison as Managing Director of the newly formed Nonprofit Center.

Larison’s hiring comes as the High Center is in the midst of growing its mission of serving and strengthening privately-held and family-owned businesses through succession planning, executive leadership training, and legacy building to include nonprofit businesses. 

“Nonprofit organizations are truly essential businesses in our communities, and I am thrilled to be partnering with them and their leadership teams to further enhance and support their work,” Larison said.

Larison arrives at the High Center with experience as a nonprofit executive director for an international education organization, as well as a career in higher education advancement and communications. Most recently, Larison served as Senior Director of Membership Services for the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance in Reading, Pa.

Larison is an Elizabethtown College graduate with a master’s in strategic leadership and organizational development.
