Elizabethtown College’s student-run Education Organization (EdOrg) will host a benefit concert for the A-T Children’s Project (ATCP) on Friday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. in Leffler Chapel and Performance Center. The concert will feature performances by various student organizations, including a cappella, dance, and theatre groups.

“The EdOrg cabinet is ecstatic to bring back this event for the first time since the pandemic,” EdOrg President, Ingrid Peura ’23 said. “Melica, Vocalign, Phalanx, Mad Cow, ECDT, EMotion, and the Etown Theatre Department clubs are ready to perform to make an impact on the A-T community by raising money for the A-T Children’s Project.”

The A-T Children’s Project seeks to support and promote finding a cure and other treatments for ataxia-telangiectasia, a genetic disease that eventually leads to an increased loss of muscle control, issues for the immune system, and a higher rate of cancer.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door for the event will be $5 for members of the campus community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni) and $10 for all visitors.

Raffle baskets and merchandise will also be available for sale at the event and all proceeds will go toward the ATCP’s mission.
