Recently, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners awarded Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) accreditation of its undergraduate business programs. The accredited programs include:

- B.S. in Accounting
- A.S. In Business Administration
- B.S. in Business Administration
- A.S. in Health Care Administration
- B.S. in Health Care Administration
“We are proud that Elizabethtown College is able to offer business programs that are recognized on an international level,” Elizabethtown College Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies Najiba Benabess said. “This next step in earning global accreditation is an important one that demonstrates the exceptional quality of our program and of our faculty.”
ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation body for business education. Its mission is to promote continuous improvement and recognize teaching excellence in the accreditation of business education programs throughout the world.
The associate and bachelor’s programs offered by Elizabethtown College SGPS are designed to help working adults reach their educational and career goals at an affordable cost. According to a report from the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW), adults with a bachelor’s degree earn an average of $2.8 million during their careers, $1.2 million more than the median for workers with a high school diploma.
SGPS undergraduate courses are offered online and in 5-week, accelerated terms. Etown offers generous transfer credits and Prior Learning Assessments through which learning mastered outside of the classroom is reviewed for college-level equivalency.
Etown is hosting a virtual information session where participants can speak with admissions counselors to discover more about the program on Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. Spring classes begin on Jan. 16.
