Elizabethtown College recently announced its 2022-23 Lecture Series. This series demonstrates the College’s rich tradition of hosting speakers on campus who provide audiences with the opportunity to be enlightened, engaged, and entertained.
Open to the public, Etown will host several Evenings of Enlightenment with four remarkable individuals including:
- Anthony Ray Hinton, Best-Selling Author and Advocate for Criminal Justice Reform
- Nov. 2, 7 p.m. / Lecture Topic: The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life, Freedom, and Justice
- Sekou Kaalund, Managing Director at JP Morgan
- Feb. 16, 2023, 7 p.m. / Lecture Topic: Leading for Sustainable Community Impact
- Steve Wozniak*, Co-Founder of Apple Inc., Technology Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist
- March 29, 2023, 5 p.m. / Lecture Topic: The Story of Apple Computer
- Valerie Jarrett, New York Times Best-Selling Author and Chief Executive Officer of the Barack Obama Foundation
- April 13, 2023, 7 p.m. / Lecture Topic: Finding My Voice: What does it mean to Belong?
All attendees must pre-register for each event. Each lecture is held at Leffler Chapel & Performance Center at Elizabethtown College and is free, excluding the High Center Forum with Steve Wozniak held at the Lancaster Marriott & Convention Center which requires a fee per ticket.
