For nearly two decades, David Beidleman has served Elizabethtown College as its Vice President for Institutional Advancement. In June, David will retire after a storied career with the institution.
David’s exceptional work with our donors, alumni, partners, and friends of the College over the years made extraordinary impacts on the lives of our students and enhanced the campus community including but not limited to leading the Be More Inspired Campaign by raisingĀ $74.5 million, surpassing its goal of $60 million. David also was influential in leading capital campaigns to open the Bowers Center for Sport Fitness & Well-Being, the Masters Center for Science, Mathematics and Engineering, the Hoover Center for Business, and additions to the Young Center.
He also helped to raise donations to launch the Trostle Finance Lab, the Jay Walk, and to enhance The High Library, Leffler Chapel and Performance Center, Gibble Auditorium, Nicarry Hall, and Thompson Gym among other efforts. For the last 18 years, over 160 new endowments were established with a current value that is more than $57 million.
In addition to Institutional Advancement, David has served the institution in a variety of roles as Board Secretary. He also provided leadership to the High Center for Family Business and he is the most recent past president of the Fulton Theatre Board of Trustees. We commend David on his incredible contributions to the College and community and wish him and his family the best in retirement.
