The Elizabethtown College Dance Team (ECDT) will be hosting One Elle of a Night in Leffler Chapel and Performance Center on Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m.

This charity event will raise money for the Elle Foundation, a nonprofit organization that strives to bring joy to children with cancer and grant final wishes to those fighting a recurrence.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. The cost is $3 for students and $5 for non-students and proceeds will go to the Elle Foundation.

“We encourage students to come out and see great performance groups, have fun and enjoy the show,” Captain and President of the ECDT Carly Campbell said. “It goes to such a great cause, and it’s really meaningful to the dance team.”

ECDT will be accompanied by Emotion, each of Etown’s three A Cappella groups (Melica, Phalanx, Vocalign), and a local Ballroom and Latin competition dance team, The Dance Collective.

The College’s dance team has been preparing for One Elle of a Night since the summer, first by selecting a date and then choreographing the performances. More recently, they have been working on finer details such as advertisements and programming.

“We’re excited to show off all of our dances and hard work we put in this year, especially after a year of COVID and not really doing anything. We are excited to raise the money and get everyone together for the show we haven’t done in a while,” Campbell said.
