Elizabethtown College’s Theatre will  present a spring production of Steven Dietz’s “Still Life with Iris.” The performance will take place on March 17- 19 and March 24-25 at 7 p.m., as well as on March 26 at 2 p.m. in the Tempest Theatre.

The story is about Iris, a young girl from Nocturno whose inhabitants create what we see in nature and store their memories in their coats. When the Great Goods, who live on an island across from Nocturno, steal Iris’s coat, she loses her memories and spends most of the show trying to find her way home.

The cast is made up of Etown students with most playing more than one role and will have the opportunity to be as creative as they wish.

“I am hoping to host a very creative environment for all of those who are involved – audience included,” director, Erin Vago ’22 said. “It’s so moving and special and, not only is it a family-friendly show but it legitimately entertains people of all ages.”

The Elizabethtown College and the surrounding Elizabethtown area community are invited to attend. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $8 for students and faculty, and $5 for children 13 and younger. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, if still available.
