Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate & Professional Studies held a virtual event on Tuesday, Dec. 14 to celebrate the 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award winner Kelly Garrett, along with faculty milestones within the School.
Garrett is an SGPS faculty member in the Master of Strategic Leadership program and has taught at the College since 2016. In addition to teaching at Etown, Garrett also serves as a Director of the Emergency Management Professional Program at the Emergency Management Institute, where he leads curriculum oversight between Basic, Advanced, and Executive Academies. He earned his Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Leadership and Business Ethics from Duquesne University, and his bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College.
This year’s virtual celebration also recognized SGPS faculty milestones from both 2020 and 2021. More than 35 faculty members were honored during the event.
