Ashley Mistichelli ’22 was recently awarded the Casualty Actuaries of the Mid-Atlantic Region (CAMAR) Scholarship by the Casualty Actuarial Society for outstanding performance in an Actuarial Science program.

Mistichelli is a senior Actuarial Science major at Elizabethtown College and is also pursuing minors in Data Analytics and Economics. Over the past two summers, Mistichelli has furthered her studies in MetLife’s Actuarial Internship Program and plans to return as an intern in the coming summer following her Undergraduate commencement.

“I am so honored to be a recipient of the CAMAR Scholarship,” said Mistichelli. “I would like to thank the entirety of the Mathematical Sciences Department at Etown for preparing me for my career as an actuary!”

Mistichelli intends to pursue her master’s degree in Finance at Etown, then study toward Fellowship with the Society of Actuaries after graduation.

CAMAR scholarships are awarded each year to six deserving students from Arcadia University, Elizabethtown College, Grove City University, Lebanon Valley College, Messiah College, Morgan State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Penn State University, Robert Morris University, St. Joseph’s University, Temple University, Towson University, University of Delaware, University of Pennsylvania, or West Chester University.
