Why did you choose to transfer to Etown?
While attending my last school, I never quite found my niche. I was missing the feeling of community and personal connections between the college and my peers. When I came to Etown for the first time, I fell in love with the community, the location, and the friendly people and atmosphere. I had never felt so excited about the next chapter in my life and knew that Etown was meant to be my next home.
Did the transfer process go smoothly? How did Etown help out with this?
The transition from one college to another is intimidating, but I truly felt like my transfer process went smoothly. When I was confused or lost, there was always someone there to talk to that guided me through it. Before transferring, this was one of my biggest fears, but Etown was so helpful!
What advice would you give to other students who are considering a transfer to Etown?
Don’t be afraid to ask people for help. Etown is full of people who are there to help, no matter what the questions or concerns are. I made it a goal to reach out to my potential advisors and transfer counselors and they helped me solidify my decision.
