Elizabethtown College Employee Honored with 2019 Torch of Global Enlightenment Award

Recently, Elizabethtown College Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Title IX Dr. Armenta Early Hinton was honored as a 2019 Torch of Global Enlightenment Award recipient by The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg. The award recognizes individuals’ exemplary work in promoting multi-culturalism, mutual respect, and global understanding.

Each year, the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg honors individuals who have promoted tolerance, appreciation of diverse cultures, peoples, languages, and lands to support students of diverse races, background, cultures, and faiths.

The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg is affiliated with the World Affairs Councils of America based in Washington, D.C. It is part of a national network of influential councils dedicated to educating and engaging the residents of our region in global issues.
