College to also Hold Open House for Prospective Families
On Sunday, March 17, Elizabethtown College will host Los Pleneros de la 21, a premier bomba y plena ensemble for a free concert, sponsored by the Department of Fine and Performing Arts and The Center for Global Understanding and Peacemaking. The concert, open to the public, will celebrate the rich African roots of Puerto Rican heritage through percussion-driven sounds. Families also are encouraged to learn more about the College at an open house which will include a tour of the beautiful, vibrant campus.
What: Elizabethtown College will host an Open House for all interested families to learn more about the liberal arts college offering students a 21st century transformative educational experience. Following the openĀ house, families can enjoy the Los Pleneros de la 21 concert which is bringing Latino communities from central Pa. together to celebrate the Puerto Rican culture.
When: Sunday, March 17 at 1 p.m. (Open House); 3 p.m. (Los Pleneros de la 21 Concert)
Where: Leffler Chapel and Performance Center, Elizabethtown College (One Alpha Drive, Elizabethtown, Pa. 17022).
Who: The Open House and concert are both open to the public. Admission is free.
