Dr. Dan Chen, assistant professor of political science and Asian studies, had her research article, “ ‘Supervision by Public Opinion’ or by Government Officials? Media Criticism and Central-Local Government Relations in China,” published in Modern China.
Dr. Cristina Ciocirlan, associate professor of management and Chair of the Department of Business, had a paper accepted for publication in Organization & Environment journal. The paper is titled “Environmental Workplace Behaviors: Definition Matters.” It was partially sponsored by a U.S. Scholar Fulbright grant in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Oya Dursun-Ozkanca, associate professor of political science and director of the International Studies minor, presented her article, “Boyer Model Revisited: An Approach to Effective Teaching,” at the Lilly Conference on Evidence-Based Teaching and Learning, which took place Jan. 7 through 9, in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Fletcher McClellan, dean of the faculty and professor of political science, presented a paper on SLEs in November 2014 at the World Congress on Education in London. The research was recently published in International Journal for Cross-Disciplinary Subjects in Education, Special Issue Volume 5 Issue 3, 2015.
He also had the article, “What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been: Three Decades of Outcomes Assessment in Higher Education,” in the January 2016 issue of PS: Political Science and Politics.
Dr. Carmine Sarracino, Chair of the Department of English and director of the Creative Writing minor released the novel, “Point Blank.” The book, published by The Wild Rose Press, is available in hardcopy and electronic formats.
