Elizabethtown College will celebrate Etown Does Pride and recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) during the remainder of March and throughout April. Programming will honor the resilience and contributions of LGBTQ+ communities, while uniting survivors and advocates in the shared commitment to end sexual assault, abuse, and harassment.
While Pride Month is celebrated nationally in June, Etown is celebrating its Pride Month events before the majority of students leave campus for the summer to best celebrate together.
All members of the Etown community are welcome to participate in this commemorative month that fosters education, healing, and solidarity. Programming for Etown Does Pride and SAAM Month is offered through Etown’s Institute for Engagement, Mission and Impact, highlighting the work of student leaders, intercultural clubs, and campus partners.
