“She Kills Monsters” is a comedic play by acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen that explores the world of fantasy role-playing games. A heartwarming tale of friendship and acceptance, “She Kills Monsters” tells the story of Agnes Evans, who uncovers unexpected insights about her late sister by playing the Dungeons & Dragons module she had written.
Claire Grau ’27 is serving as a student assistant director on the production, which will be directed by Griffin Yeyna, a performer and a frequent collaborator of the Tempest Theatre. Yeyna has assisted on various productions at Etown, most recently directing the 2025 spring production “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
“Assistant directing this production has been an incredible opportunity for me, to not only expand my theatrical knowledge, but my general worldview as well,” Student Assistant Director Claire Grau ’27 said. “Delving into this role has provided me the confidence required in and out of the theater, and I am so grateful for the individuals who have supported me in taking on this role.”
