Recently, Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) partnered with United Way of Pennsylvania to offer a 15% tuition discount on educational programs that enhance the skills and professional development of all United Way of Pennsylvania members, volunteers, and employees, along with their spouses and dependents.

United Way of Pennsylvania is the state association representing local United Ways that serve communities across the Commonwealth.

“Elizabethtown College values the importance of the contributions the United Way of Pennsylvania makes to our local community and statewide,” Elizabethtown College SGPS Director of Corporate Partnerships, Chris D’Imperio said. “We are thrilled to partner and provide their members, volunteers, and employees with greater access to the educational and professional development opportunities available through the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.”

The tuition discount will apply to SGPS undergraduate and graduate-level programs, as well as the micro-credentialing platform Etown Edge, which offers over 300 affordable courses through self-paced modules across a variety of in-demand fields.

Etown SGPS recently launched a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership, designed to equip and support current and aspiring non-profit leaders, who are committed to making a positive impact in their communities, with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the field.

The four-course, 12-credit graduate certificate, developed in partnership with The High Center at Elizabethtown College’s Nonprofit Center, provides learners with expertise in financial stewardship, fundraising, ethical governance, board management, storytelling, legislative advocacy, and more.

For more than 70 years, SGPS has had a direct and positive impact on the workforce and economy of both Lancaster County and throughout the southcentral Pennsylvania region by offering convenient and flexible undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as micro-credential options specifically designed to meet the needs of busy working adults. Courses are taught by faculty who are working professionals in the fields in which they teach, ensuring that content is current and highly applicable.

SGPS works together with corporate, educational, and community partners from around the region to help build a powerful workforce and advance the careers of learners through the affinity partner program. Learn more about Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
