The Elizabethtown College Criminal Justice Club recently hosted an on-campus Community Corrections Panel featuring four criminal justice professionals in a variety of career paths. The panel was free and open to the public. View photos from the panel.
The event allowed students to engage with speakers and network in their desired career paths while learning more about opportunities available to them after they graduate.
“The Community Corrections Panel provided students with the opportunity to converse with and learn from leaders in the fields of probation, parole, and reentry,” Criminal Justice Club President Olivia Sullivan ’25 said. “Students were able to speak directly with a wide array of professionals and learned more about if this field is right for them.”
Panel speakers were:
- Daniel McIntyre — Director of the Bureau of Reentry Coordination & JRI2 for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
- Kim Cooper — Adult Probation/Parole Officer for Carbon County, Pa.
- Hannah Shepley, M.S. — Parole Agent II at State Correctional Institution (SCI) Camp Hill for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
- Ashley Kitchenoff, M.S. — Juvenile Probation Supervisor for Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas
