Elizabethtown College’s long-standing partnership with Clark Associates has led to valuable student success over decades of initiatives. Clark Associates currently employs more than 60 Etown alumni, with multiple divisions and branches in e-commerce, sales, procurement, and retail for commercial food service establishments across the U.S.
Located nearby in Lancaster, Pa., Clark Associates and its strong alumni network is an asset for Etown students, providing internship and job opportunities, along with generous scholarship support.
Clark Associates Charitable Foundation provides four Etown students with a $2,500 scholarship each year. Students who apply for the scholarship are automatically considered for summer internship opportunities at Clark Associates.
“Clark Associates has enriched my Etown experience by allowing me to focus more on academic and leadership growth without financial concerns,” Brendan Guy ’25, a 2024 scholarship winner said. “The funds have strengthened my entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging me to take initiative in group settings and lead with confidence and collaboration. Looking forward, these experiences have laid a solid foundation for my career, equipping me with the leadership and problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.”
This year’s recipients Ava Barton ’26, Madilyn Fratis ’25, Lindy Stoner ’26, and Aya Zourgani ’26 were announced at the annual on-campus Scholarship Luncheon hosted by Clark Associates on Nov. 6.
The Clark Associates Charitable Foundation also provides funding for various initiatives at Etown. Last year, the company provided scholarship prizes of varying amounts to winners of a one-minute business pitch competition hosted by Etown’s School of Business.
In addition to providing financial support through scholarships to Etown students, Clark Associates engages frequently with Etown’s Career Development Center and attends on-campus Career Fairs and Business Meet & Greets.
“Clark Associates is an incredible partner for Etown students because they recognize the work ethic, grit, and discipline of Etown students, which aligns well with their leadership principles,” Director of the Career Development Center Maureen Brown said. “It’s always a pleasure to host Clark Associates on campus and connect with Etown alums who have chosen Clark as their professional home.”
The company also hosts an annual site visit for students of all majors to learn more about the organization, internship and job opportunities, and meet with Etown alumni employed by Clark.
While an Accounting major at Etown, alumnus Aaron Weber ’10 was first exposed to Clark Associates during on-campus job interviews and started a full-time position immediately after graduation. He has built a successful career through the company and currently holds the role of Clark Associates Vice President of Procurement for Durable Goods.
“Clark has had tremendous success recruiting high-caliber students from Elizabethtown College,” Weber said. “I’ve been involved with the International Business program, which has allowed me to connect with students, share Clark’s story, and build relationships with them. Some of those students now work at Clark and have built outstanding careers.”
