College announces scholarship support and tuition discount for Pittsburgh Technical College students
Elizabethtown College is offering Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) students an opportunity to complete their degrees with financial support through the recently announced Pittsburgh Technical College Fund, along with a 20% discount for all School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) undergraduate online programs.
PTC students impacted by the college’s recent announcement of closure following the spring quarter will be eligible to receive up to $25,000 in scholarship funds including $20,000 in merit scholarships and $5,000 guaranteed for PTC transfer students, to help reduce the financial burden of transferring institutions. Etown will also offer a 20% discount for PTC students transferring into all SGPS online undergraduate degree programs.
“We want to support impacted students and create a process that is as seamless as possible during this challenging time,” Elizabethtown College Vice President of Enrollment Marketing and Communications Keri Straub said. “Etown prides itself on ensuring a smooth transfer process for students joining our campus community by offering the financial resources and support structures needed to achieve their academic goals.”
Etown has been named one of the nation’s most transfer-friendly schools for three consecutive years by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society’s 2023 Transfer Honor Roll for providing access to resources to ensure that students looking to make a change have a smooth transition. The College offers more than 150 undergraduate majors, minors, and concentrations along with more than 11 online undergraduate degrees through the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
In addition to generous merit scholarship funding, Etown offers all transfer students:
