Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate & Professional Studies (SGPS) recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Reading Area Community College (RACC) to offer students wishing to advance their education guaranteed admission to Etown.

“We are excited to partner with Reading Area Community College to offer a pathway for students to complete their degree through a seamless transfer process into our exceptional bachelor’s programs,” Elizabethtown College Vice President for Marketing, Communications, and External Relations Keri Straub said.

Through the agreement, students who earn an associate degree from RACC with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher receive guaranteed admission to any bachelor’s program offered by Etown’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

The MOU also provides RACC students with the following:

  • Two free Etown SGPS courses and one free Etown Edge Bundle (which equates to 2-3 additional undergraduate credits)
  • Ability to transfer up to 64 credits
  • A 15% tuition discount for members of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) who are continuously enrolled in degree programs

Students will also have access to personalized academic advising and various support resources throughout their Etown career.

“Our institutions’ shared goal of providing a high-quality education in a flexible and accommodating format makes Etown a perfect destination for RACC students to live their best lives,” Straub said.

In addition, RACC employees, their spouses, and dependents are eligible for a 15% tuition discount on all SGPS programs. Programs can also be completed in both part-time or accelerated, full-time tracks.
