Elizabethtown College is honoring National Dating and Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DDVAM) with a series of initiatives and events throughout October, presented by the Office of Title IX.
In 1989, Congress passed Public Law 101-112, officially designating October as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Since then, October has been a time to acknowledge domestic violence survivors and be a voice for its victims.
Throughout the month, the Etown campus community is encouraged to participate in awareness initiatives and attend events that help to raise awareness.
