Elizabethtown College’s Office of Campus Recreation and Well-Being (RecWell) will be hosting a nutrition day event on Friday, March 18. Several activities will take place throughout the day in the Bowers Center Demo Kitchen, all pertaining to nutrition.

RecWell hopes this event will allow individuals to gain more knowledge about nutrition and use this information to meet their own nutritional goals.

“While nutrition plays a major role in the health and wellbeing of individuals, I think it goes deeper than that,” Joni Eisenhauer, RecWell Assistant Director of Health Promotion said. “I believe that nutrition and food are a more complex issue. Food is something that we need to survive, but it’s also important for individuals to feel comfortable with food, have a good relationship with food, and eat food that makes them feel nourished on all levels.”
